"Passing" directed by Rebecca Hall starring Tessa Thompson and Ruth Negga tells the story of two High School friends who reunite and become involved in each others lives. The film is set in the 1920s and shot in black and white which gives it a timeless feel and obviously symbolic of the stories theme. Wonderful performances by both lead woman, however the film never took off the ground for me and was a bit dull. I enjoyed viewing it, but would probably never want to see it again. "Passing" is now streaming on Netflix.
