"Tick, Tick... Boom!" is now streaming on Netflix. Directed by Lin Manuel Miranda, this film is a love letter to Jonathan Larson portrayed by Andrew Garfield. Set in 1989 NYC we follow the struggles and life of Jonathan Larson as he is composing a musical. His drive and dedication to becoming a working composer is admirable to watch and Garfield's performance is nothing short of incredible. The film has catchy songs, interesting plot, and a knock out performance making this film the trifecta of musicals. Highly recommend watching, especially if you knew nothing of Larson like me. I predict Garfield will be a top contender for Oscar next year.
