"Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel" is a 4 part true crime series streaming on Netflix. The series tells the story of Elisa Lam who went missing in 2013 after being last caught on security footage of the Cecil Hotel Elevator. The case was strange and confusing but once the proper policing was done, it was a pretty cut and dry case. This series dives into the twists and turns the case took during the investigation leading to countless conspiracy theories and red herrings. I wish they would have focused on the truth of the case, but I suppose they needed to drag it out. If you enjoy true crime, you'll enjoy this latest installment. I personally believe it was poorly done but it was a definite guilty pleasure.
