“It was a day of equalization, learning the game of golf, and improving skills” said CAF Board Member Alan Shanken. CAF hosted an adaptive golf clinic at the world-renowned Olympic Club in San Francisco where local golfers with physical disabilities participated and received expert coaching and mentoring from United States Adaptive Golf Association certified coaches. Chris Foremaker, a 16-year-old from Elk Grove, CA received a surprise grant from CAF giving him the opportunity to play sports like he did before his amputation. Special thanks to the Jonathan and Rae Corr Family Foundation for fully finding this experience.
