Good cast texture and casting marks are present on the kit parts. The Sherman Mk Ic was a development of the M4 Sherman by the British to get the 17 pounder gun into the turret, this was achieved by mounting the gun on it's side and opening a hole in the back of the turret to allow for the recoil. The machine gunners position was deleted too to allow for the ammunition to be stored there.
