@Saint Louis Fan Co. (Winco) Louisiana Series 48" Ceiling Fan

Brown/brass finish with teak blades. Manufactured by Winco in Hong Kong sometime in the early 1980s. Motor is cast iron. Uses a variable-speed control with no trim pot, so what you get is what you get (unless you replace the control with one that does have a trim pot). Performance is decent; the fan takes a while to get up to speed, but still flies. The Saint Louis Fan Company was a short-lived label that offered three models: The Cameo Series (GE-vent, three sizes), the Swirl Series (reproduction of the Tuerk type C, three sizes), and the Louisiana Series shown here. All three of their models were made by Winco.
