In a weird way, this game (narratively) feels like a response to people like me that have been scrutinizing this series' stories. is fresh, it's tight, it takes its entire history into account without resorting to having to rely on people's understanding of it to tell a good story. It's simple enough, it's complex enough, it's well-written and I had a blast making this video. It's bizarre how much doing Sonic EWWs takes me back to how the path I'm currently on started, and getting a great Sonic game after all this time just feels like a proverbial end goal to this journey.
