The epic Rottnest Channel Swim covers a distance of 19.7km from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island off the coast of Perth, Australia. It is the worlds largest ocean water swimming event with around 2,500 swimmers and 1,500 support boats who made the crossing this year.
It was time to repay the favour to our Canguro Racing Observer Nick McCouat and watch over him for a change as he took on the solo swim for the first time, whilst our Driver Simon Penhaligon took on the skippering duties at a much slower pace than usual.
