Chasing-Canguro's video: Grafton Bridge to Bridge

@Grafton Bridge to Bridge
We competed in our last classic river race for the 2015 season at Grafton over the October long weekend. We had a solid run to the turn buoy and overtook several boats on the return leg with the boat maxed out and the legs pumping on the way to the finish line. Until we hit some choppy water, unfortunately I wasn’t able to re-grip my front bar due to an injured finger and had to let go at 82-mph. I was lucky enough to maintain my skiing position, when I hit the water it was at a much slower speed. We got up and going again and managed to cross the line in a decent time considering the delay and also the lack of inter helmet communications between the driver and observer. I look forward to returning next year and making up for it. The Canguro Racing team would like to send our condolences to the Coey family and friends who lost Jed competing in the same race. Another huge loss to the sport…RIP Jed.
