Moroccan street petit fours (or small cookies) are everywhere in the old Medinas. I love all of them especially the coconut chewy macaroon– A type of sticky baked cookie that is not overpoweringly sweet with coconut flavor. White, chewy, fluffy inside and light brown, crunchy on the outside, and they’re often sandwiched. This cookie holds such nostalgia for me because I used to eat it as a snack after school throughout my childhood.
