16 days ago I came down with symptoms that appeared like the common cold but affected my entire digestion system like the flu and I knew it was COVID-19. The symptoms I experienced: Cough Congestion and chest tightness Weakness Inability to stay awake Nausea Diarrhea Lack of Appetite Headaches Low grade fevers/chills Feeling confused and disoriented Loss of taste and smell I had trouble finding out what to do once I had the virus and also where to get a test and not be turned away due to lack of insurance and not the exact amount of symptoms. I found out local testing sites by visiting a local hospital who turned me away for a test there but showed me where to go closer to me. It turned out it was my alma matter and the high school I spent three years at. I tested positive and just received my results today 7/14. I was not scared to die from the virus but found that usual cold medicine did little to help treat it but was bettered by tumeric. When you have the virus and/or test positive, you are asked to self-isolate for 14 days from the first day you had symptoms and not to leave the house at all during that time. You can break quarantine once you have 3 days following the 14 days with no symptoms, and you don't have to be re-tested unless your employer mandates it.
