Chemical Engineering Resources's video: Liquid Liquid Extraction - Problem 5

@Liquid Liquid Extraction - Problem 5
Worked Solution to the following problem --------------------------- A countercurrent process containing three ideal stages is designed to operate with a volumetric flow-rate ratio (aqueous/organic) = 5/12. Find the percentage recovery of the gross solute A in the solvent and its decontamination factor from a trace solute B also present in the aqueous feed. The aqueous feed contains 100 g of A per litre and 1 curie of B per litre. The solvent feed contains no solutes. The distribution coefficient, m, for both solutes are a function only of the gross solute concentration XA in g per litre.
