Ben Aldridge discusses playing Thomas Wayne, joining the DC Comics Batman legend Universe and gives a few clues about the new 10 episode series ‘Pennyworth’ at Comic Con. The series explores Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon) the man to one day become the butler and father figure to Bruce Wayne/Batman as young man in his 20s shortly after leaving British SAS, trying to start his security company, friendship with former soldiers, being working class and the swinging 1960s London scene full of alcohol, women and overthrow of the monarchy. The series stars Jack Bannon (The Imitation Game, Ripper Street) and Ben Aldridge (Our Girl, Fleabag), multi-award-winning recording artist Paloma Faith, Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Ryan Fletcher (Outlander), Hainsley Lloyd Bennett (Eastenders), Emma Paetz (Gentleman Jack), Polly Walker (The Mentalist, Rome) and Emma Corrin (The Crown).
