Padawan est un petit veau dénutri et souffrant de graves carences ayant engendré des problèmes osseux et musculaires ainsi qu'un grand retard de développement. Sa mère n'avait pas de lait et les autres animaux de son pré l'empêchaient d'accéder à la nourriture et l'attaquaient. Nous l'avons racheté pour le sauver. Yoko et Shambhala, les juments, veillent sur lui, tandis qu'Eowyn la zébu joue le rôle de grande sœur, et Poésie la petite vache handicapée, aidée de Gandalf le mouton l'entourent...
