Chicago Architecture Center's video: Highlights from What s Next 02: Designing the Future City

@Highlights from “What's Next 02: Designing the Future City”
There are enormous opportunities for cities to become more connected, equitable and prosperous through emerging technologies, public-private infrastructure investments and the sharing economy. What shifts are needed to keep Chicago globally competitive into the future? This fast-paced, enlightening forum—part two in an ongoing series at the Chicago Architecture Center—included Ben Bear, Chief Business Officer at Spin; Ron Burke, Head of Micromobility Policy for the Central U.S. at Lyft; Angel Mendez, Executive VP and COO at HERE Technologies; and Karina Ricks, Director, Department of Mobility and Infrastructure for the City of Pittsburgh. Gabe Klein, Co-Founder at Cityfi, moderated the discussion. "What's Next: Designing the Future City" was held on January 30, 2020 in the Joan and Gary Gand Lecture Hall at the Chicago Architecture Center. The What's Next? series is generously supported by Sandra Helton and Norman Edelson. Visit https://www.architecture.org/programs to learn more about upcoming events at the CAC.
