Chinatown TV's video: In Paglayag 2020

The International Center for Peace, Reconciliation and Development (ICPRD) in partnership with the Philippine Returnees in Shishi (EARPS) UN Letron Culture & Technology Ltd. held a premier launch of a documentary film entitled: “IN PAGLAYAG” as an entry to the FRINGE Art Festival 2020 this February. The film showcases the voyage that highlights the lost grandeur of Sulu’s rich history. It also tells us an in depth story of the kingdom that birthed the Filipino Moro nation, and whose power gained influence even from China’s Ming Dynasty in 1400s. This film is directed by Rhadem Camlian Morados, a multi-awarded documentary Filmmaker & Human Rights Activist from the Philippines, known for his documentary films on Indigenous Exploitation in Cordillera & Queer Moros in Mindanao and edited by JD Domingo who is also known for editing movies like (Patay Na Si Jesus, Zombadings, ENDO, Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros). In Paglayag will be featured on the 25th of February 2020 at Pineapple Lab -- 6053, R. Palma Street, Brg. Poblacion, Makati City. Open house from 6PM serving traditional Tausug delicacies promptly followed by the Film Screening and Q&A at 8PM.
