It operates as train number 14806 from Barmer to Yesvantpur Junction and as train number 14805 in the reverse direction, serving the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra & Karnataka. It initially ran to / from Ahmedabad Junction being subsequently extended to Barmer. The train before had ICF rakes of Rajdhani Express that have converted into LHB rakes. The LHB rakes are more secure than ICF rakes in safety manners. The 14806 / 05 Barmer–Yesvantpur AC Express has 1 AC 1st Class, 4 AC 2 tier, 10 AC 3 tier & 2 End on Generator Coaches. In addition, it also carries a pantry car. The 14806 Barmer–Yesvantpur AC Express covers the distance of 2,251 km (1,399 mi) in 50 hours 15 mins averaging 44.80 km/h (28 mph) & in 53 hours 30 mins as 14805 Yesvantpur–Barmer AC Express averaging 42.07 km/h (26 mph). The 14806 / 05 Barmer–Yesvantpur AC Express runs from Barmer via Samdari Junction, Bhildi Junction, Palanpur Junction, Ahmedabad Junction, Vadodara Junction, Surat, Vasai Road, Kalyan Junction, Lonavala, Pune Junction, Solapur, Hubli Junction, Tumakuru, to Yesvantpur Junction. It reverses direction of travel 5 times during its journey at Samdari Junction, Bhildi Junction, Palanpur Junction, Gadag Junction and Hubli Junction. As the route is yet to be fully electrified, a Sabarmati based WDM-4D locomotive hauls the train from Barmer up to Ahmedabad Junction handing over to a Vadodara-based WAP-7 / WAP-5 until Pune Junction following which a Hubballi-based WDP-4D powers the train for the remainder of the journey. 14806 Barmer–Yesvantpur AC Express runs from Barmer every Friday reaching Yesvantpur Junction on the 3rd day. 14805 Yesvantpur–Barmer AC Express runs from Yesvantpur Junction every Monday reaching Barmer on the 3rd day. Yesvantpur Junction railway station also Yeshwanthapura Junction railway station (station code: YPR) is one of the three important stations which serves the city of Bangalore which is located in Yesvantpur locality. It is one of the developing stations of Bangalore created for reducing the rush at Bangalore City railway station. This station is located on the Bangalore–Pune & Bangalore–Hyderabad main lines. Being a main location, all trains bound towards Hubli & Hyderabad either originate from here or the ones from Bangalore City have a stop at this station. Direct trains to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Indore, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ajmer, Jaipur, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Howrah, Chennai, Trivandrum, Kannur, Tumakuru, Ahmedabad, Pondicherry etc. also originate from Yeshwantpur. Yesvantpur Junction railway station has a total of 6 platforms out of which platform 1,2,4,5 and 6 are platforms for originating & terminating trains. Platform 3 is generally used by passing-through trains. There are two overbridges , one connecting platform 1 and 2 , and another from platform 2 to platforms 3,4,5,and 6. It has 2 entrances-one from Yeshwantapur old area , and another from Tumkur Road. The one on Tumkur Road connects to platform-6 . The Yeshwanthpur metro station is at a walkable distance from the station. Yesvantpur Junction railway station has 6 non-AC retiring rooms and 12 dormitories at a reasonable cost. Other facilities such as AC VIP Lounge, Essential stalls, and an ATM also available in the station. It even provides free Wi-Fi for the people in and nearby the station. Barmer railway station is a main railway station in Barmer district, Rajasthan. Its code is BME. It serves Barmer city. The station consists of three platforms. The platforms are well sheltered.
