It runs from Thiruvananthapuram Central to Hazrat Nizamuddin. It is the longest running Rajdhani Express train, which covers about 3,149 km (1,957 mi). It has a record for the highest section speed, reaching 104 km/h (65 mph) between Ratnagiri and Sawantwadi Road (225 km or 140 mi in 2 h 10 min). It also gets a top speed of 130 km/h (81 mph) between Nagda and Hazrat Nizamuddin (267 km). It moves at an average speed of 76.36 km/h (47.45 mph) between Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. It runs the longest non stop run between Kota Junction - Vadodara Junction section (528 km). The 12431 Rajdhani SuperFast Express leaves Thiruvananthapuram Central in the evening at 19:15​ and reaches Hazrat Nizamuddin at 12:40​ in the afternoon of the third day. While on the return journey, the 12432 Rajdhani Express leaves Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10:55​ in the morning and reaches Thiruvananthapuram Central at 05:25​ in the morning of the third day of its journey. Before the Konkan Railway came up in 1998, there were only 2 South bound Rajdhani from Delhi. It is hauled by a WAP 5 or WAP 7 of Vadodara (BRC) shed between Hazrat Nizamuddin to Vadodara. After which a Golden Rock (GOC) / Ernakulam (ERS) EMD WDP-4D locomotive pulls the train from Panvel to Thiruvananthapuram and vice versa. The Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani generally has 1 AC 1st Class, 5 AC 2 tier, 9 AC 3 tier coaches, 1 pantry car and 2 luggage cum generator coaches making a total of 18 LHB Coaches. Back in 1995, the train had 11 coaches only. 10103/Mandovi Express मांडवी एक्सप्रेस CSMT/Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus -- MAO/Madgaon Junction The Mandovi Express is a train which operates between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Madgaon Junction, the main railway station in Goa and is currently operated by the Central Railway and the Konkan Railway. This train is named after the Mandovi River. In previous years before the Konkan Railway came into existence, it used to run between Vasco and Miraj as the Vasco-Miraj MG train and after the Konkan Railway came into existence, it was diverted and made to run from Mumbai to Madgaon and renamed Mandovi Express by then Railway Minister Nitish Kumar. It runs daily with a total travel time of 11 hours and 50 minutes. It has 18 stops on its route. It covers a distance of 580 km. The Mandovi Express (10103/4) is runs through, Mumbai CSMT railway station via Dadar railway station, Thane railway station, Panvel railway station, Khed railway station, Chiplun railway station, Sangameshwar Road railway station, Ratnagiri railway station, Adavali railway station, Rajapur Road railway station, Vaibhavwadi Road railway station, Kankavali railway station, Sindhudurg railway station, Kudal railway station, Sawantwadi Road railway station, Pernem railway station, Thivim railway station, Karmali railway station to Madgaon railway station. In earlier years it used to run with WDM 3A or WDM 3D of Kalyan/Erode shed and in 2000 it was given WDP 4 of Krishnarajapuram. It is now hauled by a WDP 4 of Hubli. Currently it is hauled by a Pune or Kalyan based WDP 4D locomotive on its entire journey. On 7 Oct 2013, Mandovi Express derailed at Khed which lies in Ratnagiri District. This incident happened when the train was running slowly and going towards Khed railway station, but no casualties reported. Ratnagiri railway station (RN) is a train station that serves the city of Ratnagiri in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the one of the main railway stations of the Konkan Railway. The station has modern facilities like elevator and escalator. The station offers free Wi-Fi. All Konkan Railway trains halt at Ratnagiri. It is 7 km away from the city. It falls under the Ratnagiri railway division. Ratnagiri station lies on the Konkan Railway zone of Indian Railways.
