The 16533 / 34 Jodhpur–Bangalore City Express runs from Jodhpur Junction via Luni Junction, Marwar Junction, Ahmedabad Junction, Vadodara Junction, Bharuch Junction, Surat, Vasai Road, Kalyan Junction, Pune Junction, Miraj Junction, Hubli Junction, Ballari Junction, Guntakal Junction to Bangalore City. As the route is going to electrification, a Bhagat ki kothi based WDP-4D diesel locomotive pulls the train from Jodhpur to Hubballi & RPM WAP-7 from Hubballi to Bengaluru. The train shares its rake with 16573/16574 Yesvantpur–Puducherry Weekly Express, 16507/16508 Jodhpur–Bangalore City Express (via Hubballi), 16505/16506 Gandhidham–Bangalore City Express, 16531/16532 Ajmer–Bangalore City Garib Nawaz Express. The railway station is under the administrative control of North Western Railway of Indian Railways. Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnav who also hails from Jodhpur, proposed the rejuvenation plan of Jodhpur railway station in 500 crore and directed the officials to complete it within 3 years. Jodhpur railway station was opened in 1885 under the jurisdiction of New Jodhpur Railway The first train ran from Jodhpur to Luni on 9 March 1885. Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna - Bengaluru Station, commonly known as KSR Bengaluru Station, Bengaluru City Railway Station or Bangalore City Railway Station (station code: SBC) is the main railway station serving the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It is the busiest railway station in South Western Railway zone of Indian Railways, and is the only station classified under NSG1 category in the zone. It is located across the Kempegowda Bus Station. The station has 10 platforms and three entrances. The important trains originating and passing from Bangalore city station are KSR Bengaluru Mail, Kacheguda-Mysuru Express, Karnataka Express, Bangalore Miraj Rani Chennamma Express, Island Express, Chennai Shatabdi Express, Rajdhani Express, Lal Bagh Express, Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express, Brindavan Express and Wodeyar Express, Humsafar Express, Duronto Express. The station features a public aquarium called ′Aquatic Kingdom′ which has been functional since 1 July 2021. It includes a 12-foot-long tunnel aquarium, which is India's first. It is developed in collaboration with HNI Aquatic Kingdom. Platforms 1 connects to the Chennai and Salem railway lines. On platforms 8 to 10, service trains arrive via Yeshwantpur from Hubballi-Dharwad. Platforms 1 to 4 terminate at Bangalore. On platforms 5 to 10, service trains depart towards Mysuru. There are 5 railway lines passing from Bangalore City railway station – to Hyderabad via Guntakal, Chennai via Krishnarajapuram, Salem via Hosur, Mysuru, Hubballi-Dharwad via Tumkur, Birur.
