It is currently being operated with 17020/17019 train numbers on a weekly basis. The 17019/Jaipur–Hyderabad Weekly Express has an average speed of 49 km/hr and covers 2004 km in 41h 10m. The 17020/Hyderabad–Jaipur Weekly Express has an average speed of 51 km/hr and covers 2004 km in 39h 10m. Both trains are hauled by a Moula Ali Loco Shed or Kazipet Loco Shed-based twins WDM-3A diesel locomotive from Jaipur to Hyderabad and vice versa. Hyderabad Deccan railway station is a terminus, meaning the tracks go only in one direction. The station has 6 platforms. Platform No. 4 is the main platform that is directly located at the main entrance of the station, and is the first platform that one reaches after entering the station. Platform No. 4 is meant for trains departing from Hyderabad Deccan, such as Telangana Express, Charminar Express, Chennai Express, Godavari Express (PF. No. 5). Platform numbers 1, 2 and 3 are smaller platforms, and they are located on the "side" entrance of the station. These platforms are exclusively used for operating Hyderabad Multi Modal Transport System trains and the Warangal/ Kazipet Push-Pull Service, and other slow low priority trains. In 2019, the northwestern zone of Indian Railways upgraded the Jaipur Junction railway station by installing LED lights to improve the brightness inside the station. The station has been brought up to "airport standard" by Indian Railways through modernization and new facilities. A plan has been created by the Railways Board to further improve lighting in concourse halls, station platforms, circulating areas, waiting rooms, reservation counters, inquiry counters, foot bridges (FOB), stairs, parking areas, escalators and lifts, among other places. Recently, the Indian Government also introduced retiring rooms and can be booked from Jaipur Junction Railway station.
