North GA Rails's video: CN Champaign Subdivision 5 12 15: Amtrak Saluki and Canadian National Manifest

The next day, we awoke in Tuscola and spent some time trackside on the CN before exploring the other three Class I mainlines in the area. Thankfully, I was able to get a feel for daytime trains here after my one nighttime catch near Champaign several years ago. We spoke with a track foreman in Tuscola and learned that Amtrak 391, the "Saluki" was headed our way, and a CN manifest was behind it. So first in the video is the Saluki, pounding the UP diamonds in Tuscola with Amtrak P42DC 50 leading. We moved north to see what was running on NS in Tolono, arriving in time to catch CN M342 with ES44ACs 2813 and 2881 leading a 98-car train. We looked up the NS traffic headed our way and heard there was nothing coming for a bit, so after hearing two UP trains on the radio, we drove back to Tuscola.
