@AQUI Y AJAZZ, Acoustic Alchemy "Red Dust & Spanish Lace"
AQUI Y AJAZZ, Acoustic Alchemy "Red Dust & Spanish Lace" FOR ENGLISH TRANSLATION, PLEASE SCROLL DOWN. Acoustic Alchemy is one of England most successful contemporary jazz band of the last two decades. But its success comes from its beginnings in back 1987 with the release of his first album entitled " Red Dust And Spanish Lace" under the record label MCA which marked ' the great success of this group was the single " Mr. Chow" a song that later was the transition from new age to the smooth jazz genre . Its founders English guitarists Nick Webb and Simon James this last who left the group in the early 80 's gave way to its present also a founding member the English guitarist Greg Carmichael . Unfortunately Nick Webb died of health problems on the 1998 , which forced the group to move its electric guitarist and current member as well Englishman Miles Gilderdale to the second acoustic guitar position. This unique and rare live concert was done back in 1999 less than a year after the departure of Nick Webb was produced by the jazz channel here in Washington, DC . and in which I had the opportunity to be part of its in production. Originally this concert would be like a second part of the DVD "Live in St. Lucia " also produced by the channel.
