@[F1 2019][1.18.2] Default Setup Consistency Test: Williams
Full playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqsN216o13srz4BCMjS7fS-1eGfmlzr1E As I've still barely put any time into this game (or simracing in general over the last couple of years), I wanted to see how consistent I could be in each of the cars while trying to go as fast as possible on every lap. No assists, using the G27 wheel, always doing 11 valid laps and discounting laps featuring crashes. Top speed: 325km/h. Laps: * 1: 1:47.815 * 2: 1:47.493 * 3: 1:47.552 * 4: 1:47.745 * 5: 1:47.456 * 6: 1:47.568 * 7: 1:47.186 * 8: 1:47.237 * 9: 1:47.322 * 10: 1:47.029 * 11: 1:47.573  ...it's a Williams. Don't expect much from it. That said, it's actually really nice to drive. It was already nice to drive when the game came out and that, thankfully, hasn't changed much. Unfortunately, neither has its pace, since it's still miles off pretty much everywhere. Sorely lacking in downforce, mechanical grip, drag efficiency and corner entry stability, it's pretty much a boat that wants to pirouette on you whenever it can... but gently, and never without informing you in advance (06:22). You might be able to get something out of it in qualifying, but given that even the Toro Rosso is over a second faster I kinda doubt it. If you can, bump up the difficulty. Its traction is surprisingly nice. And I'm not just saying that because the Merc engine's power delivery is as smooth as ever, because the Williams is actually better out of slow corners than the Racing Point. Peculiar, but I'll take it. I also made a mistake at the end when showing the lap times: the sector times for the best lap should, of course, be the ones from the best lap itself, not the ultimate sector times. Other videos shouldn't have this problem.
