Today's video features the newly released Louis Vuitton Hot Springs Backpack that came out in summer of 2019. It retails $2,140 and is approximately 8x8x4 making it the perfect mini bag and a great hands-free option! There are 4 ways to wear this bag - as a backpack, as a crossbody, as a shoulder bag, and as a top handle bag. The Hot Springs Backpack has been around for about a year but this specific combination of patent leather & black and white monogram canvas is new as of Summer 2019. The Palm Springs Backpack was released November 13, 2015 so it's going on 4 years already. I prefer the updated style of the hot springs backpack as it is less seen and more unique in my opinion! The most obvious difference between the 2 aside from the $200 price difference is that the palm springs backpack has a full zip whereas the hot springs backpack features a push lock closure as well as a drawstring (making it slightly more of a hassle opening and closing it). The patent leather is quite durable, but not as hardwearing as their coated canvas products. Last year I reviewed the Louis Vuitton Marignan bag (Retail $2,230) which is predominantly coated canvas and that has held up beautifully.
