Previously I had reviewed the Alternative product prior to owning the Dyson, but now that I have both I decided to film a direct comparison review showing both of them in action. I style half of my hair with each of them. In my opinion the alternative is an attractive option as you can get a very similar look for less. One of the biggest differences aside from the hefty price tag is the fact that the alternative doesn't have the option to curl your hair. If you search for "one step hair styler and volumizer" they have many options from various brands, ranging approximately from $20-$40.
