About a decade before digital video was commonplace for everyone, a small, Bell & Howell Super 8 film camera, could be found in the already over-filled recesses of my P-1 Division berthing compartment locker. During my 3-year-stint aboard this Super Carrier, I shot these fifty-feet rolls (cassettes) of footage...5 rolls in all. They were developed via mail plane trips to a Kodak laboratory located in New York, during our time on "Camel Station." BTW...For the UNinitiated: If this is your first viewing of a "Shellback Initiation," - Always a must, when crossing the Equator, - Those commodes merely contain grease, pickles, and other assorted kitchen slop, - Courtesy of the mess cooks...Just in case, you were wondering...😳🤮🤢😂🤣
