Cinema Australia's video: NINGLA-ANA Trailer

@NINGLA-ANA | Trailer
It’s fifty years since four boys sat under a beach umbrella in Canberra and called it the Tent Embassy. Over the course of that momentous year film maker Alessandro Cavadini shot NINGLA-ANA with the people who were creating the embassy, the Aboriginal Medical service, the Legal Service and the National Black Theatre. It was an unforgettable year - and he made an unforgettable film. NINGLA-ANA Fifty years later the film was about to be lost forever until a crowd funding project financed the restoration of the original negative The Tent Embassy was the beginning of a movement that led to the establishment of the Aboriginal Medical Service, the Aboriginal Legal Service and the National Black Theatre and a tide of support from around Australia which led to the grant of native title land rights.
