Citizens For Justice's video: The Columbia Firework Wars 2019 Documentary

@The Columbia Firework Wars (2019 Documentary)
In the wake of Columbia Missouri's highly publicized 2018 fireworks war, Boone County Sheriff Dwayne Carey made a pledge to the media and to the public. That year's war would be the last one Como would ever see. "We have 364 days to address this problem, and if I have to take all a hundred and fifty members of this department, will arrest everyone that's involved next year," the sheriff touted. That November, the sheriff's hopes of ending the tradition we're bolstered by the death of the war's longtime organizer, Ahmonta Harris, known across the city as Monnie Man. The war had depended on Ahmonta's leadership to maintain order, engage in public relations, and most importantly to spearhead the cleanup effort and mitigate any damages caused by the battle. But without Ahmonta to govern the war, that responsibility fell on his 17 year old nephew Draco AKA Daniel Ayers. Would the war go forward or would the Boone County Sheriff's Department and Columbia Police Department stop the war for good?
