Last year, schoolchildren from across London went to parliament to ask the Children’s Minister to allow children in families with no recourse to public funds (NPRF) to access Free School Meals, so they wouldn’t go hungry at school. Rosheniqua, one of the students who led the action that day, had this to say about the recent government announcement to increase the threshold so more families with NPRF could access Free School Meals. www.citizensuk.org
