City Lights Theater Company's video: Intro: I and You and Ivette and Davied

In 2016, actors Ivette Deltoro and Davied Morales had their first lead roles, starring at City Lights in Lauren Gunderson’s beautiful two-person play "I and You." She played Caroline, a cynical high school senior in need of a new liver; he played Anthony, an idealistic teen in need of a partner for his project on Walt Whitman. Now, at 8 p.m. PST on Friday, May 29, Ivette and Davied reunite for a free program on Zoom. They'll perform one of their favorite "I and You" scenes, talk about their experiences with this moving and unexpected story, and answer your questions about the play and what they’ve been up to since then.
