City Lights Theater Company's video: Building Worlds with Ron Gasparinetti on The Next Stage

@"Building Worlds with Ron Gasparinetti" on The Next Stage
The mud-spattered trenches of World War I. A glittery, gold, decadent Venice. The underworld. For every City Lights show, resident set designer Ron Gasparinetti transforms our stage with his brilliant visions. Ever since "What the Butler Saw" in 2006, Ron has designed nearly every show here. He’s also our production manager and technical director (in his spare time). On July 31, 2020, we enjoyed a fascinating interview talking with Ron about three of his favorite shows: "Truce: A Christmas Wish from the Great War" (2014), "Mothers and Sons" (2019), and "Silent Sky" (2019). His "Mothers and Sons" design earned him a Theatre Bay Area award for Outstanding Scenic Design, and the other two were TBA Awards finalists.
