Can you believe we stayed till 2am??? A night of filled tummies with such a sumptuous meal prepared by our friend, Mia, followed by games where we test our teamwork!! I brought you guys along with us to enjoy this very special day, so sit back, relax and have a good laugh! Note: Towards the end, we discussed about having a boy or a girl first for our first child. The conversation was kept to a minimal to convey the simplest possible ideas, and while I did convey my ideas of the possibilities of how having a boy or girl first would affect the dynamic, I am very much aware of that it is less about fixated roles, but more of explaining that there are multiple possibilities and the roles I conveyed could even possibly be switched. So with that, I don’t have a personal preference as I believe that we aren’t able to define nor predict the characters of our child (if we do, it’ll be more based on past experiences and what we currently “know” within our own frame of mind), and while there are possibly patterns within society that may or may not shape a person based on their gender to some extent, at the end of the day, I believe it’s most important to allow a child to evolve into their own being while we guide them to our best abilities.
