We get it, there are a lot of Street Rods out there to choose from. However, if you are currently in the market for one you really need to take a close look at this 1933 Ford 5 Window. This car is packed with little details that really take it to the next level. The owner/builder of the car is a metal fabricator and the amount of hand created 1 off features this thing has are really astounding. Starting with the body the car is all original 1933 Ford steel except for the fenders, running boards, and tail pan which are aftermarket steel. It has a very subtle chop giving it a great looking side profile and despite the chop the front windshield was modified to still open/close which is a really nice touch you don't see with all chop jobs. The windshield is not tinted but the rest of the glass is. The paint is absolutely beautiful on the car and consists of a 2000 Corvette Millennium Yellow with very cleanly laid out Candy Burgundy flames. The pearl on the candy paint really pops in the sun and the flames are framed with Silver pinstriping. It has been kept in excellent condition due to the bra and bugscreen which come with the car so you can drive it without those typical rock chip worries. The grill is an original 1933 Ford grill that has been rechromed. It still has its front/rear bumpers but they have been pulled closer to the body. Features like that and the ornamental chrome horns are a nice nod to the stock original car. It is that combination of traditional features with subtle customizations which really make this car special. It has aftermarket original style Ford headlights and in back the original taillights have been shortened. It also has an inset 3rd brake light under the rear window for added safety and all the tail lights are LED. Other nice exterior modifications include the filled cowl. The wheels on the car have a beautiful shine and are made by Edelbrock. They are 15x7 inch in front and 17x8 inch in rear with P206/60R17 and 255/60R17 Dunlop tires.  Open the beautifully painted and louvered 4 piece hood to reveal the 289 V8 motor. Yes, you read that right, this Ford is Ford powered. You see so many of these style of cars with a crate Chevy motor in them that seeing a Ford motor adds an extra cool factor. Take note of the custom recessed firewall where the flames have also been applied. That level of detail is something you don't see everyday. A custom section was also built to almost french and hide the chrome master cylinder allowing it to somewhat flow with the body. It is almost hard to describe but it without a doubt looks awesome and adds a lot to this incredibly clean engine compartment. The motor is out of a 1967 Ford and has been completely rebuilt. It features a mild Edelbrock cam, 500 Edelbrock carburetor, chrome Edelbrock manifold, chrome Edelbrock water pump, Ford Racing valve covers, Taylor yellow wires, all braided lines, and a Yellow painted block/heads. This is a motor you are going to want to show off! It isn't just about the looks though because it runs extremely well and delivers a great sound through the 2 1/2 inch exhaust exiting in chrome tips. Combined with the engine is a rebuilt Ford C4 automatic transmission to send power back to the Ford 9 inch rear end. The car is set up to ride down the highway comfortably as well as around town with 3:00 gearing. Disc brakes are in place up front and drums in rear. It also has a Mustang II style front end with 2 inch drop spindles. Underneath the back is a a custom made stainless steel gas tank with stainless steel fuel lines. It does get driven so you will find some chips on the undercarriage here and there but it is still very very nice with a large majority of the components being painted Yellow. The interior is very cleanly done but before we get start on that lets take a look at the suicide doors that get you in there. We have seen many street rods over the years but this one has a very well designed feature that we don't think we have seen yet. Most suicide door cars have safety pins for added security because the last thing you want to do is bump the door handle while flying down the road. Well these pins instead of being mounted in the door are actually mounted in the kick panels. This means that you will never accidentally chip your paint by slamming the doors with the pins out. It's pretty clever! If that isn't enough they also have a beeping alarm that will sound until you lock them before heading out on your drive. Inside, the car has dual bucket seats with headrests. They are upholstered in a nice Black leather with custom Burgundy and Black vinyl inserts. The headliner is all cloth and along with the Black carpet is in excellent condition. Through the floor is a Lokar shifter with 8 ball knob and a Lokar emergency brake handle.
