ClassicalGasMotors's video: 1935 Ford Custom Pickup

@1935 Ford Custom Pickup
1935 Ford Custom Pickup Early Ford's have always a popular go to for customization and the Street Rod craze proves it. In 1935 the Model 48 was introduced and received a complete cosmetic refresh. Interestingly between the cars and trucks, the truck version actually retained more of the look from the year prior. The beautiful 1935 you see here has been done in a Street Rod/Restomod style and would be a unique opportunity for someone in the market for one. The truck was in the process of being customized and frame off built when the owner unfortunately passed away. The estate then paid to finish it all out to put it up for sale. So when we say "fresh" build we are talking 1 or 2 years old. We are talking 1 to 2 weeks old. The truck has never been shown publicly and has 8 total miles on it. To have the truck professionally built you would easily invest double the asking price and have to deal with all the headaches that come with that process. Plus you wouldn't see the finished product for easily a year or two if not more as the truck took around 3 to finish. This one you can hop in and it is ready to go right away. The truck is all steel and the Tequila Sunshine House of Kolor paint really comes to life when you pull it out into the sun. It has an aftermarket 4 piece steel hood with 3 rows of side louvers. In back the truck has a custom roll pan with tear drop LED taillights and up front is a nice chrome bumper with aftermarket turn signals. The headlights are the standard chrome fender mounted set up and all the electrical is working properly. The custom bed was totally redone with new stainless and new wood which was stained to have a similar tone as the paint. It is where you will find the custom battery box with Optima battery and the gas filler. It rides on new 18 inch BOSS wheels with brand new tires and it has a slightly taller tire in the rear. Turning those tires is a Street & Performance fuel injected LT1 motor that runs and sounds great. It is fitted with a lot of chrome accents and some components have also been painted to match the body. The engine is paired with a 4L60E transmission that moves through the gears smoothly. The truck rides nice and cool despite the Texas heat thanks to the high end aluminum radiator system with dual stacked electric fans. During the build it was upgraded with a Mustang II style front end, Power Steering, Air Conditioning, and Power Brakes (disc front). Being such a fresh build the undercarriage all looks great because it has barely seen the road. The interior is all new as well with a split back bench seat. The upholstery is a nice combination of a Tan and lighter Beige combination. It has a fully custom built center console which houses power window controls, speakers and a very nice JVC stereo system. It has all the modern features and not only has bluetooth to play your music but also make phone calls using the mic mounted to the upper windshield frame. The dash is all nicely painted and topped with inset adjustable Vintage AC/Heat vents, the controls, Classic Instrument gauges, and a very cool LED gear indicator. Other very nice components include the billet pedals, polished tilt steering column and a wood grain Banjo steering wheel with V8 horn button. This is one very clean pickup that has been completely redone. It is the closest you can get to buying a classic Street Rod at a new car dealership.
