ClassicalGasMotors's video: 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe

@1965 Ford Mustang Coupe
1965 Ford Mustang The Ford Mustang was first introduced in 1964 and has continued to be produced since earning it the award of being the longest-produced Ford car nameplate. It earned the namesake of the "pony car" automobile segment and introduced the short deck and long hood look that would be adapted by eventually all manufacturers by the late 60's. These 2 door cars were packed with powerful engines which evolved into a style that would become known as "muscle cars." The 1965 Mustang, like you see here, became the most successful vehicle launch since the '27 Model A which is extremely impressive. This is a very well built car that was originally sold in Fort Worth, Texas and has remained a Dallas/Fort Worth Texas car its entire life. The body is all rust free and painted in a nice Silver paint paired with a Black vinyl top. All of the original style stainless trim and chrome pieces are mounted in place with a nice shine. It also has the additional fog light bar on the grill, headlight covers and in back it also has the lower valence with the dual exhaust exits. The glass is in great condition throughout and has a slight tint. The car rides on its original style 14 inch rally wheels with Radial T/A tires. Mechanically the car has been well maintained throughout its life and has always received any needed repairs. The engine wears a 289 chrome air cleaner but is actually a 302 ci V8. Under the hood it has been upgraded with custom valve covers, chrome shock towers, and both monte carlo stiffening bars. The transmission is the "Green Dot" C4 automatic which had a unique shift pattern allowing you to somewhat shift manually or as an automatic. The car runs really well and sounds great. It has air conditioning, power steering and disc brakes have been added up front. The interior is done in Black vinyl and is the stock style. It has dual bucket seats with a removable aftermarket hump hugger center console which provides cupholders and additional storage space. The dash has an original style layout with an underdash AC unit and everything is working properly. The AM/FM stereo sounds good and it has aftermarket Rockford Fosgate kick panel speakers and Pioneer speakers in place in the package tray. The trunk is nicely finished out with the correct style mat and houses the spare with matching spare cover. This classic comes with a ton of extras like Mustang fender covers and tons of additional parts. That is not all though because it has a lot of records like receipts, the original window sticker, original title, and even registration cards from the 60's and 70's.
