1984 Chevrolet Silverado K10 4X4 The C/K series of pickups was a very popular line of trucks built by Chevrolet from 1960 to 2002. There were 4 generations and they were released to directly compete with the Ford F series and Dodge D series. The 3rd generation was designated as the "Rounded Series" by General Motors but due to their appearance the public dubbed them the "Square Body". Interestingly this was the first generation of truck to be designed with the use of wind tunnels and computers. Also, due to the increased use of pickups they started receiving some more luxury options like power windows. This gen also was the first use of the Silverado nameplate which is still in use today. This 1984 Chevrolet Silverado K10 is a nicely built truck that has had a frame on restoration. Being a K10 it is a 4 wheels drive and it sits tall with a 6 inch lift kit. The body is painted White and is approximately 1 year old. The grill, trim pieces and taillights are all new and in great condition. Steps have been mounted to both sides to help you easily gain access to the cab. The glass is all in good shape throughout and has a slight tint. The bed liner keeps the bed nicely protected and there is also ladder that swings out when the tailgate is lowered to give you access to the bed. The custom wheels are 20x12 and it has manual locking front hubs. The tires have plenty tread left and are Extreme MT Mud Claw tires.  Under the cowl hood is a 350 V8 motor that features an aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock air cleaner and chrome valve covers. The truck runs well and it also has a new radiator, new fan shroud, and all new belts. The transmission is a Turbo 350 Automatic that shifts smothly. It has both power steering and power brakes with discs up front. The rear brakes are freshly rebuilt with new drums. Underneath the truck the frame has been reinforced for safety at the steering box. Other nice features include the great sounding dual exhaust and dual fuel tanks. The interior is freshly redone in Black upholstery. It has a new bench seat, new door panels, new dash pad, new dash cover and all new carpet. The dash had a mostly stock layout with new trim and the new gauge cluster is all working properly. It has the power window option and other luxuries like cruise control and AC/Heat as well. The radio has also been replaced.  This is a nicely built 4x4 and these trucks have really increased in popularity over the last few years. There are a lot of "Square Body" fans out there so we don't expect this truck to stick around for long.
