Climate Tracker's video: Local communities adapting to climate change - AfDB

Climate Change is forcing communities around the world to adapt. Women are disproportionately impacted, and are often at the forefront of adapting to a changing climate. At the United Nations Climate Change conference COP24, the African Development Bank brought together female leaders to share best practices in adapting to climate change. They made it clear that there is a high need for tools to help communities adapt to climate impacts at the local level. Climate finance and investment in infrastructure are key to local adaptation efforts. With the enhanced Direct Access Initiative, the Adaptation Fund hopes to bring climate finance directly to local communities.
