RakeM is playing Wall $treet Raider v7.83. In this episode, my net worth takes a nose dive from $138.9T to $44.9T over 2 months of game time. There are three reasons why this happened. First, we have a tightening interest rate that is driving down stock prices. Second, we have sold off our biggest industrial stocks and replaced them with much smaller stocks, so our income is much lower at the insurance companies. And third, theres a subprime mortgage crisis under way. This is my first time dealing with the subprime crisis scenario...and I decide to exit the subprime market completely, taking huge losses in the process. I hope taking an $8T loss wasn't a mistake.
