Chatham Court, Newark NG24 4BH A large stretch of cracks have deteriorated for far too long, has not been touched near the so called repaired potholes last week. I am very sorry to say my hopes have been very much shattered to see the poor workmanship of over 85 potholes at Newark Chatham Court Estate, which were so-called repaired by Nottinghamshire County Council maintenance workers. The condition of the road is that most has not been done to a satisfactory standard, the question is it would have been better to resurface the whole stretch of this small road with tarmac instead of a botch job. Before anyone reminds me of the current budget constraints and financial pressures it would be best to resurface with tarmac, in the long run this will save money by not having to do it over and over again.  My main priority is about continuously supporting the areas I represent in the Devon Ward which needs urgent attention, Orston Avenue NG24 4NS between Elizabeth Road and Hawton Road, is a small road and has also been patched. Also Grange Road NG24 4LE starting near Ash Road pavement has been in a bad state for years. I will start being more visible over my Summer Offensive and will be reporting the worst areas in Devon Ward.
