Clotheslinemedia's video: The Incredible Hulk Movie Review

@The Incredible Hulk (Movie Review)
http://www.clmnews.com/ In a loose sequel to 2003's "Hulk", Marvel studios unleash "The Incredible Hulk" on audiences everywhere this weekend. The film was almost released three years ago with a completely different plot. The film right for this latest adaptation of the Hulk was purchased by Marvel Studios in 2006 and the plot was overhauled. This version features a look at the Hulk that is closer to the 1970's television series, and the original Marvel Comics. The Movie starts off where the 2003 movie left off. Bruce Banner (Played by Edward Norton) is in South America hiding out and trying to cure himself of the Hulk. Keeping true to the TV series Bruce Banner finds work as a day laborer in a soft Drink Factory. From his unassuming posts Bruce engages in a secret correspondence with a stateside scientist code named Mr. Blue. But before they reach their major breakthrough, Bruce's world is shattered when he is discovered by General Thaddeus Ross played by William Hurt. General Hurt is intent on capturing the "Hulk" and on weaponising his great power. When he fails, to acquire the Hulk, General Ross turns to Special Forces Officer Emil Blonsky played by Tim Roth and turns him into the Abomination. Unlike the first movie where the Hulk did not have a traditional super villain to battle, Blonsky's Abomination matches the Hulk strength for strength in an epic battle. This movie should definitely satisfy the hardcore Hulk fans who may have felt cheating after the 2003 version. The Incredible Hulk's action scenes are noticeably more edge of your seat in this film. The film doesn't just rely on CGI of the "Hulk" to satisfy. The chase sequence early in the film sets the tone and displays a scrappier side of Bruce Banner that most hulk fans haven't seen on screen before. But the film is titled the Incredible Hulk and the hulk's transformation scenes are the signature moments of the film. The first film had great transformation scenes and this one followed that up. The Hulk is also a darker shade of green in this movie, than in the 2003 adaptation. The CGI is a little bit better and improves on what was already good, and shows off better definition on the hulk's body. For all of those who have ever left the theatre after seeing this type of film wondering whether or not there would be a sequel, don't panic. This movie was a long trailer for both the next Hulk film and the Avengers movie. Tony Stark's words at the end of the movie pretty much left nothing to the imagination for fans of the marvel universe. And yes I do mean that Tony Starks. This film works in a lot of ways and it will be received well by its core audience. The movie get's an overall score of 9 from CLMNEWS. This movie should do well with a wide range of demographics and movie goers and should easily top $50 in it's opening weekend.
