Dodital temple is situated at the height of 9925 ft above sea level in uttarkashi dist in Uttrakhand. Dodital is the birth place of lord Ganesha, This Tal is the origin of Assi Ganga River which joins Bhagirathi river in Gangori confluence. From Rishikesh and Dehradun motor road reaches Uttarkashi and then a narrow road to Sangam Chatti. After Sangam Chatti this is 24 km trek to reach to Dodital. From Dodital there is 5 km difficult trek to Darwa Top. Between Dodital and Sangam Chatti a night halt is available in Agora or Bevra Chatti village. Trek is beautiful.
