He started one of the most popular, profitable and earliest cloud-based software-as-a-service companies in the world, salesforce.com, right in the dot-com boom in 1999 – and rode it all the way through the crash. In 2009, he wrote down the story of how he pulled it off and what made Salesforce different than others.
