YESSSS! -So @Tech YES City not too long ago, in this video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWc8-cD8iYo&t= , showed off a new budget used parts meta for PC gaming. And taking a note out of the YES man's book as well my old OG videos, i chucked a Xeon into the build to see if it would boot...AND IT DID. And it works great! Haswell/4th gen performance for this pricepoint is pretty good! Single core IPC performance that beats anything on X58, Sandy Bridge, or Ivy Bridge (stock not overclocked) with solid multi-core performance as well. Its surprisingly powerful for the money for sure. While you MIGHT be able to get away with building this up for closer to $300 if you're lucky, I had no such luck at the time i filmed this so i changed gears to aim for a $400 pricepoint. For the cost of a VR headset like an Oculus Quest or Oculus Rift S, you got yourself access to a pretty powerful gaming PC right here. If you could squeeze an RX 580 or RX 480 into the budget, you then have yourself a VR capable budget build too! The best part about this during this pandemic we're currently in?
