Cobra Framebuilding's video: CNC Machining Titanium Chain Stay Yokes for Custom Bike Frames Framebuilding

@CNC Machining Titanium Chain Stay Yokes for Custom Bike Frames | Framebuilding
In this video we take a plate of raw titanium and transform it into a pile of shiny parts. These are our Sidewinder V10 and V11 Titanium Chainstay Yokes for custom bike frame builders. First we have to saw the plate up using the Clausing C12AX automatic horizontal band saw. What a machine! It's still a lot of steps because it's plate and not flat bar stock with 2 outside dimensions already where we want them. Next we load a new endmill in a shrink fit toolholder. I show my DIY induction heater for this process. Then we load the raw stock into my Pierson Rotovise for Op1. I did the best I could to get good shots of the machining, but it's tricky! Then the parts are loaded into the Op2 fixture for the last bit of machining.
