You don't have to use every page or tool that is in there. You can just stick to only the tools you need and feel comfortable with and if you do need additional help the good news is you can always outsource things like compositing/vfx and sound mixing. In fact the same project file can be shared with others and everyone can collaborate using the same platform. Easy peazy lemon squeezy! I personally prefer DaVinci Resolve over other platforms specifically for color grading and I have been using it extensively since version 8 when it first came to the Mac in 2010.
