On the GTI you have two options as far as blow off valves go. You can choose the more expensive legit blow off valve or one of the cheaper diverter valve spacers. I picked up the ECS Tuning diverter valve spacer for about $45 and decided to test it out. In neutral or park, you can rev it to about 4,000 RPM and hear the valve opening and closing. With the DSG transmission, however, the valve opening and closing is heard more subtly. Is it worth the money? For $45 I'd say yes. It's a cool little party trick and hearing it when you let off the gas at certain RPM is fun. And an easy install at that! Thank you all for watching!
