@Thoughts of an Empty Nester – Moving / Downsizing and Your Books – Step No. 1 - Sorting
Let’s get sorted! Moving and or downsizing is in the cards for many of us at some point in our lives. Being a reader moving can get very costly, especially if you are paying someone else to move your stuff, but don’t forget the physical toll that these books can take if you are moving yourself. This is the beginning of a short series of my thoughts on moving and downsizing with waaaaay to many books. My hubby and I just completed moving from two homes to a 1 bedroom apartment. Moving and storing all my many many books just wasn’t an option. So I had to employ some drastic measures and it all began by sorting all my books. Today we discuss the process of sorting your books in hopes of significantly reducing the number of books that you are moving or living with, without all the guilt.
