Comic Buying's video: Heroes Comic Con 2018 - Madrid Spain - Walkthrough Tour

Hello all, today (9/21/2018) I stopped at the Heroes Comic Con in Madrid, Spain (http://www.heroescomicconmadrid.com/). Not to be confused with the one in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was my first experience at a European convention and it was a decent mid-to-large size show. I did manage to find more than I expected to purchase, but compared to a US show it was way less of course (some Spanish printings of key US issues - I'll make a video on these later). Apologies for the shakiness of the video, need to find a camera mount and this was my first attempt shooting in 4k (not all clips are 4k though). Some other notes/observations: - Limited number of vintage dealers (with even less original American comics - there was really only one dealer that had older US stuff) - Tons of new comics and reprinted editions/HC's/TPBs (general prices on hardcovers/omnibus like books are way cheaper here compared to the US, but the print quality isn't as high) - This was Friday, so the show seemed to have low traffic similar to US shows on Friday - Didn't see as many costumes as US shows (again, it was a Friday though) - Large diversity of comic spin-off items, toys, Pops, trinkets, weapons, candy, etc typical to US shows - Security didn't look through bags as you went in, but there were a number of officers in and around the building - Food prices seem lower than US cons and more diverse offerings - Convention was super easy to get to and the public transport is really efficient - Each dealer had a walled-setup and name tag that looked to be uniform and provided by the show, I thought this looked sleek and probably made things less stressful for dealers Probably will think of more later, but that's it for now.
