CommonKnowledgeWorks's video: For Raja Unfinished Rough

An obviously rough and unfinished project. Started this nearly three years ago when my poor dear Raja started her decline, I was in denial and started a video tribute to her instead. Raja was an older rescue cat I didn't want and was basically forced upon me. She was black with spots of grey from age. At one point in her life her tail as been broken and cut short. She had been abused and neglected before being rescued, however the family that rescued her had young children and when Raja didn't get along with them she was kept in the basement, let out only when the kids went to bed. When she came to me she was terrified, hissed at me, tried to bite, ran and hid. I basically ignored her for a month but then she started curling up at the foot of my bed, and then next to me and then by my pillow. We slept together like that until the end. When I had to move on from one scary situation to another I knew I couldn't leave her behind and the cat I never wanted became a sweetheart who only trusted me. When I had to make the decision to put my sweet Raja to sleep to stop her suffering I tried to finish this project but couldn't work through the tears and eventually it was forgotten until I found it tonight. I won't be finishing it, I could barely bring myself to render it as is. It is rough and unfinished but I wanted to put it out nonetheless. I don't know why, maybe I'm a glutton for punishment but this is it...
