Connor Creates's video: 3 tips to unlock your creativity

6 months ago. That’s when I started to really embrace my creativity, put ideas out there and express myself. It’s been such a joy to see all of the growth, challenges and new passions that it’s brought. Here are my top 3 tips on how to tap into your creative potential: 1. Think progress, not results. Making bad art is better than making no art. When you’re first starting out don’t worry about it being perfect, or getting hung up on the details. Just go make something 2. Implement daily habits that stimulate creativity. Actively put yourself in a mindset where you’re being inspired and let your mind come up with new ideas. Whatever it may be that works for you: being out in nature, cooking, going for a run, reading a book, listening to music, doodling, etc. 3. Limit your time of thinking about what others think to 30 minutes/day. Feedback and collaboration is important and it’s fun to engage with other like minded people. But it’s easy to get bogged down and limit yourself by worrying too much about what other people think. Your creative work is for your self expression, and for others to enjoy (not the other way around) If you’re still reading this, hope you can take something away from this lil blurb.
